WARNING: IMAGE HEAVY POST
hi people back from bkk! spent my weekend with my family there last week, all thanks to my dad's impromptu feel to visit bkk (not complaining). shopping wise i managed to combed siam, chatuchak and platinum, which i think was enough because platinum fashion mall is HUGE enough to shop for clothes. food wise i ate NON-STOP. major sigh why do i have such a huge appetite. photos wise you won't see a lot of my faces, i only have 3 photos out of my whole album. no camwhoring because 1. no one to camwhore with me 2. i hardly camwhore with myself. 3. i never put makeup lol.
alright start off with plane food! flew by MAI, was skeptical about it because it seems like some ulu airline....but actually i'm fine with anything, i'm not the one paying so better shut up. well...food was good! love the corn salad.
stayed in centrepoint hotel, walking distance to platinum fashion mall. it wasn't really like a hotel, more of service apartment? but i like the rooms, very cosy and spacious.

since i'm in bkk, i met up with my thai friend for dinner! knew her through some thai exchange programme in sa, and she's really nice :) no awkwardness throughout the dinner despite both of our families never met each other before. love the food!

shopped at platinum mall after chatuchak. i keep having the mindset that "omg buy so little, not enough not enough", but at the end of the day i also never buy as many as i expected. so as i was lugging my shopping hauls back to the hotel alone i passed by this stall, and i was like "HOLY! BANANA ROTI PRATA. MUST BUY. " okay lah it's a pancake, roti prata in singapore context. brought it back to the hotel to share with my family, good things must share.

left my hauls in the room, rested awhile and off for dinner at centrepoint. insisted on having thai food for dinner because we're in bkk. seriously man, having other kinds of food in bkk is like asking for fish and chips at crystal jade. okay i'm getting ridiculous but the point is of course must try their authentic thai food right!! sorry, very agitated when it comes to food. scolded my brother because he wanted ramen. okay so i got my wish, went to their local thai resturant~
day 3. breakfast, lepak, then headed to airport for afternoon flight. wished i could spend more time there :( then can eat more ^^ well never mind, had phad thai on the plane, i'm happy haha. the tanghoon salad (top left) really damn good! realised their salads are good.
